  Others, try using Hotel.com and booking.com in advance, but they are not guaranteed rooms, and almost every year I see people trying to argue with the front desk that they have a reservation.   A week later I received another email telling me my departure flight (Lufthansa) is now also cancelled and I would receive a refund.
