  • Custom technic pack won't load with custom resource packs
Either way, Technic is a super old launcher that I would not recommend using today. You should try Prism Launcher, GDLauncher, or ATLauncher instead, with Prism being my go-to. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Malware on ATLauncher
So I downloaded the ATLauncher (https://atlauncher.com/) which is basically a tool for installing modpacks in Minecraft. So I downloaded the windows version, scanned the setup in virustotal and it came up with these results: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/28272caadd4df846e1f19ca4c5932fa3ec0348f0e36a8e1395a30b2a005c7656/detection. • Apparently the ATlauncher setup has been found with malware
So, I downloaded ATlauncher in in it's offical site (https://atlauncher.com/), downloaded the setup then scanned it in virustotal and got these results. Are these actual malware or just false positives? Source: over 1 year ago

  • [launcher] Java launcher “broken”. Sometimes it’s stuck on the loading screen, sometimes it won’t even let me click the launcher icon.
I used to have this issue lots, and it was due to my internet being too restrictive. The Minecraft Launcher was refusing to open, and I fixed it by messing with the restrictions until it worked. Hopefully this helps :) if all else fails of course, try just reinstalling it! I’m sure that all your config files don’t get affected by reinstalling it, but just in case make a backup. And if all ELSE ELSE fails, you... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Modding Beta 1.7.3 on MacOS ain't easy
If you are willing to try out the launcher - MultiMC which you can find here (there is a Mac option available) : https://multimc.org/ then I have put together an MCb173 pack that has been made for MultiMC. You just use the 'import from zip' option. Source: over 1 year ago

  • Minecraft Veteran Here with some Questions
