We switched to ARCHLine.XP after exploring using ArchiCAD then Revit and exploring a few others. There was an initial struggle to get our minds around the interface and to it took a little time to redo our templates and set up our design office the way we liked. It had taken us many years to perfect things in our former software and it took about 2 weeks to transfer those settings to ARCHLineXP but it has been well worth it. With only a few exceptions such as creating new window types ARCHLine.XP is significantly faster and easier and more flexible for us and the initial pain of switching (which was great) is paying off every time we use the ARCHLine.XP so the experience has been a rewarding one all round.
Based on our record, ArchiCAD seems to be more popular. It has been mentiond 1 time since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
I use archicad - You can get a 30 day trial and after that you can still use the software in demo version which means everything is enabled but you cannot save the file (not great but its maybe worth it). https://graphisoft.com/us. Source: about 2 years ago
